FORMULAS & PROCESSES
THERMOPLASTIC TREATMENT
The ultimate ultra-resistant process, thermoplastic combines, in accordance with the standards set by Isère Epoxy, quality, durability and resistance of the treated elements.
High technological performance and mastered know-how combine to ensure direct on-site application without requiring any coating line (oven, spray booth or fluidized bed equipment).
This allows the processing of all types of metal parts and of all sizes.
FORMULA & PROCESS:
Thermoplastic
The thermoplastic process can be applied in three steps as specified below, or by direct application of the thermoplastic flame coating. The formulation chosen for the process is therefore part of an approach adapted to the elements being treated.
01
Shot blasting
Shot blasting is the first step in the treatment carried out on the part to be treated.
We use two types of shot blasting:
- Automatic, for series of parts, small or medium format, allowing SA3 quality of shot blasting of parts.
- Manual, for larger formats/volumes, long lengths... due to its processing capacity because of the dimensions: 14m x 4m x 4m.
02
Preparation
In order to best adapt to customer constraints, preparation is a crucial step.
This is characterized by the concealment of the parts to be treated in order to clearly identify the areas that need to be protected or that need to receive treatment.
03
Flame projection
The flame spray technique is the only system capable of applying powders on site without requiring any coating line (oven, spray booth or fluidized bed equipment).
The deposition of semi-molten polymer particles onto a heated surface is a process that melts and coalesces the particles into a complete cohesive polymer coating.
Can be applied to all types of surfaces.
Thermoplastic coating can also be applied in a single application by flame spraying alone. This depends on the initial condition of the surface to be treated.
