powder coating treatment
Isère Epoxy positions itself as your trusted partner for surface treatment by powder coating, a high-performance coating technique ensuring resistance, durability and aesthetics of metal surfaces.
Thanks to state-of-the-art processes, the application of polymerized powder layers under high temperature guarantees optimal protection against wear, corrosion and extreme conditions.

01
Shot blasting
Shot blasting is the first step in the treatment carried out on the part to be treated.
We use two types of shot blasting:
- Automatic, for series of parts, small or medium format, allowing SA3 quality of shot blasting of parts.
- Manual, for larger formats/volumes, long lengths... due to its processing capacity because of the dimensions: 14m x 4m x 4m.
02
Preparation
In order to best adapt to customer constraints, preparation is a crucial step.
This is characterized by the concealment of the parts to be treated in order to clearly identify the areas that need to be protected or that need to receive treatment.
03
Application of the korroprimary
The application of the korroprimaire allows better adhesion of the treatment for the finishing layer and therefore guarantees the durability of the parts to be treated.
Furthermore, this layer provides corrosion protection. Finally, the korroprimaire treatment undergoes an initial baking process in an industrial oven.
04
Application of the Epoxy finish
The application of the finish, the final layer of the treatment, enhances the part being treated by giving it the color (RAL) defined by the client.
Isère Epoxy has a permanently stocked wide range of paints in more than 300 "RAL" colors.
The application of the finishing layer consists of spraying epoxy powder of the RAL color desired by the customer onto the part to be treated.
Finally, the process of baking in an industrial oven allows the powder to adhere to the support.
05
Quality control
To guarantee the quality of the treatment performed, quality control is an integral part of the Epoxy treatment.
This validates the quality of the treatment performed as well as its conformity with customer requests (RAL colors, textures and other specific requests...).
06
Packaging
Each piece, assembly or sub-assembly treated by Isère Epoxy is prepared according to its sizes and volumes and adapted to the modes of transport.
Transport racks and trolleys have been designed in partnership with some clients to eliminate cardboard boxes, foams, plastics...
These transfer media accompany the items to be processed on the outbound journey, and allow the return to the customer without any damage.
07
Storage
Pending receipt by the customer, the processed parts are placed in storage on an area of 1,500 m².
Upstream and downstream of surface treatment, customer product storage services are provided to participate in the just-in-time flow.

Degreasing is the first step in the THR-LAQ C2 treatment carried out on the part to be treated.
This involves thoroughly cleaning the part to be treated in order to remove any grease deposits and other imperfections to obtain optimal treatment guaranteeing a quality result.
